Terms of Service

Testament is a free multiplayer word and board game with a biblical theme, similar in style to Codenames. Players join real-time game rooms with 4 or more players and compete in teams. The App is available for download on mobile platforms.

The App is suitable for users aged 4 and older. Users under the age of 13 should have parental or guardian consent before using the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

When using the App, you agree to:

• Treat other players with respect and courtesy.
• Choose appropriate and non-offensive nicknames.
• Not engage in harassment, bullying, hate speech, or abusive behavior.
• Not attempt to cheat, exploit bugs, or disrupt gameplay for others.
• Not use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms, including but not limited to accounts engaging in abusive behavior, using offensive nicknames, or attempting to exploit the App. Termination may occur without prior notice at our sole discretion.

You may delete your account at any time through the App's Settings screen. Upon deletion, your profile, friends, invitations, and statistics are permanently removed. This action is irreversible. Game records from completed games may be retained for the benefit of other participants.

The App, including its design, code, graphics, sounds, and game mechanics, is the intellectual property of Cutting Edge Dev and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our written permission.

Biblical content used within the App is in the public domain and is not claimed as our intellectual property.

Nicknames and in-game communications are considered user-generated content. You are solely responsible for the content you create or share within the App. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms.

The App is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cutting Edge Dev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The App uses third-party services including Google Firebase for authentication, data storage, and notifications. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which Cutting Edge Dev operates.
