Account & Data Deletion
Testament – The Bible Word Game by Cutting Edge Dev
We respect your right to control your data. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time.
Delete from the App
- Open the Testament app.
- Go to Settings (bottom navigation).
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm in the dialog when prompted.
- Your account and all data are permanently deleted immediately.
Alternative: Email Request
If you can't access the app, you can request account deletion by email:
- Send an email to support@cuttingedge.dev.
- Use the subject line: “Account Deletion Request”.
- Include any identifying information (e.g., your nickname or user ID) to help us locate your account.
We will process email requests within 7 days.
What Data Is Deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- User profile and nickname
- Friend list and pending friend requests
- Game invitations
- Game statistics (games played, games won)
- Favorite Bible verses
- FCM push notification token
- Linked authentication data (Google/Apple sign-in)
- Firebase Auth account
What Is NOT Deleted?
Game history records from completed games are not deleted. Other players can still see their past games. The deleted user will simply appear as a former player in those records.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Once your account is deleted, your data is permanently removed from our servers. There is no way to recover your account, friends, statistics, or any associated information.
